I had just left work one night at about 20:00 and saw five young tourists sitting outside a third rate hotel located right on Exarcheia square. Exarcheia is an artsy, if rather run-down neighborhood in downtown Athens. I heard them giggling and chatting in English, though their accent showed they were not native speakers.
As I approached, I saw two of them chasing something around the entrance of the hotel. One of them dipped and said “Ah, I almost got it”. Their friends, seated two meters far in a semi-circle, were laughing and pointing at the floor. As soon as I passed right in front of them I saw what they were chasing: a cockroach. Yuk, yuk, yuk.
Who on earth does that?
